Accessibility Statement

Livora (livorajewels.com) is committed to making its website accessible to people with disabilities, in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 2013, and in line with the international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

What We Have Done

Our website is built on Shopify using a theme (Spotlight) that incorporates the following accessibility features:

• Keyboard navigation — All interactive elements (links, buttons, forms) can be reached and operated using the keyboard alone.
• Skip to content link — A "Skip to content" link is available for keyboard users to bypass navigation and reach main content directly.
• Semantic HTML structure — The site uses proper HTML landmarks (header, main, nav, footer) and heading hierarchy (H1, H2, H3) to aid screen reader navigation.
• Focus indicators — Visible focus outlines are present on interactive elements for keyboard users.
• Color contrast — Text and background color combinations on the site aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text).
• Responsive design — The site is fully usable on mobile devices, tablets, and desktops, including with browser zoom up to 200%.
• Form labels — All form fields (search, cart, checkout) include proper labels associated with their inputs.
• ARIA attributes — Key interactive components include ARIA roles and labels where appropriate.

Current Limitations

We are continuously working to improve accessibility. Known limitations include:

• Some product images may not yet have fully descriptive alt text. We are actively adding descriptive alt text to all product images.
• Third-party apps and payment providers integrated into the site (such as PayPal, Stripe, and Judge.me) operate under their own accessibility policies, which are outside our direct control.
• Some older custom content sections may not yet fully meet all WCAG 2.1 AA criteria. We are reviewing these on an ongoing basis.

Accessibility Level

We are working towards full compliance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We do not currently claim 100% compliance, as this is an ongoing process. We are committed to continuous improvement.
